Hey there friends! I hope you are having a great week. Mine so far has involved a lot of caffeine. Mmmmm coffee how I love thee. Let me count the ways! I am definitely addicted. In fact, I need to send a big shout out to my client, who sent me a starbucks gift card as thank you. Renee, have I told you how much I love you (and starbucks)? You. Are. Awesome. Seriously. Okay enough about my addictions. Today I have something special for you! Alright, I know I say that every week. But it’s true!

Ashley and Adan  – where do I even begin when describing them? These two are the most amazing couple and it really shows in their engagement pictures. When you are with them you instantly feel at ease. They make you feel welcome and every time I am with them I feel like I could stay all night. I have known Ashley her entire life, literally. We grew up together. Our Dad’s were best friends. Both of our father’s are now gone, but we have remained incredibly close. Through thick and thin, both of us have always been there for the other one, and it’s a special connection that neither one of us could replace. I know it is one of the relationships I value the most in my life.

I couldn’t possibly retell all of the amazing times in life that I have had with Ashley. We always manage to have a blast, and she has lived quite the life! She was a hurricane Katrina victim – displaced to Sacramento while in college in New Orleans. Though both of us were highly concerned about her instant relocation, Ashley made the best of it and got by with absolutely nothing, enrolled in classes a few weeks late, and continued along her path. It was a terrifying experience, but if it wasn’t for that hurricane, she never would have been in Sacramento to meet Adan. It’s funny how fate plays out even in the most challenging of circumstances.

When I first met Adan, obviously, I was skeptical. Pretty much no one was going to be good enough for Ashley. But Adan won me over almost instantly with his charismatic personality and the manner in which he responds to Ashley. Ashley is assertive, likes to get things done, and is always on the go. And by some miracle, she found Adan, who goes right along with her. Want to re-seed the back lawn? Sure! Spend all day planting rose bushes? No problem! The list goes on. They are the perfect fit and I couldn’t be happier for them. They came down from Sacramento for their shoot and we met out at Miramar Beach. We had such a fun time joking around, taking pictures, and enjoying the beachy weather. I didn’t want the day to end.

Ashley and Adan – I love you guys and I cannot wait for your wedding. Thank you for allowing me to capture your engagement. You are both so special to me. Come hang out with me again soon, okay? xoxo.
